I'm a software engineer and engineering manager with over 10+ years of developer experience and 3+ years of engineering management experience.

I am currently the Head of User Applications at simplesurance in Berlin Germany.

I was born and raised in South Africa, where I completed my master studies (MSc) in IT at the University of Johannesburg.

I'm passionate about supporting my team as individual contributors as well as, as a collective. I strive to provide a platform for others to grow, develop, and achieve their goals.

I have experience developing mobile and web applications, primarily working with tools related to the JavaScript and web ecosystem. Overall, I enjoy building applications and solving architectural problems.
